Description:

The implementation of Makkah Techno Valley (MTV) Park is a unique endeavor by Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) to develop an exemplary Techno Park hosting an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park (I&E Park) as well as a Science and Technology Park (S&T Park).

MTV Park is situated adjacent to UQU to provide a natural synergy between academia and the application of the research through specific innovative and entrepreneurial programs to promote global connectivity and the growth of the Saudi academic community.

MTV extends over two sites (Site A and Site B) covering an area of 412,845 m2. It comprises a variety of buildings that highlight the function of the Park:

  • I & E Park: MTV Business Center including MTV offices, business incubators (offices and labs), Innovation Cluster, and Cloud space for interaction.
  • S&T Park: Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), multinational¬† companies.
  • Other recreational and housing components: Hotel Buildings; Serviced Apartment¬† Buildings; Convention Center; Commercial Areas; and Residential Units.

Moving from the Concept Master Plan that was prepared by HOK, SETS was commissioned to provide a detailed Master Plan as well as a detailed design, tender documents, quantity survey and pricing for the Roads and infrastructure for the MTV full site.
