Major Gulf State embassy in Kampala
2019-09-03

Geared by our “Care” value, SETS is proud to take part in supporting growth potentials in East Africa and its neighbors to reach its greatest ability. This is displayed by the keen interest of our professionals and experts on transferring knowledge and building technical capabilities as part of our commitment to the recently awarded construction supervision project in the Ugandan capital Kampala.

The services are provided for a new Gulf State embassy in Kampala, which will be a state-of-the-art facility in Uganda.

Given the high-profile nature of this project, SETS assigned a team of highly qualified local and international experts to provide technical oversight and project management services for the construction project and has partnered with local consultants IMK Engineering to provide technical support services on the project.

The project is the first project for SETS within East Africa and is aligned with the company’s global expansion strategy. “This project is an important milestone for SETS Group as it is the first project within the East African region. The growth and opportunities within East Africa are significant and SETS is committed to play an active and long-term role in the region’s development” said Dr. Hesham Osman – Director of the Program Management Department at SETS.

Construction commenced in January 2019 and is expected to last for two years.
